the finished pumpkins

happy halloween

Still the cutest little bugs I have ever seen...

They get hugs, kisses, and applause from the neighbors! When we'd go to a door Julia would say "boo!" They freaked out a little but when they saw a little dog come running out of some one's house in costume!

A few of the girl's neighbor friends. Be sure to notice the suckers in every picture. It didn't take them long to figure that one out...they had at least six in 30 minutes. All of the neighbors kept opening the candy for them; they must know who their mama is.

These little bugs were smashed and splattered. Tim says it's a sure sign of a fun filled day....that it was.

the airshow

We spent the day at the Airshow at Ellington Field. The girls actually enjoyed it and Tim loved it. They loved playing with their airplanes they were given and Julia thought she was pretty cool wearing her bandanna. Look closely on the plane picture and you can see the lady standing on it...crazy! The Blue Angles were also there and breath taking as always.

carving pumpkins

We helped the girls "gut" their pumpkins tonight. They were pretty excited and eager.

Julia was definitley the most timid. She wasn't too sure about putting her arm in, but she did it a few times and seemed to enjoy watching the whole process. She kept showing me her hands and wanted me to clean them.
Jocelyn was really in to it and kept going in for more. She got really excited and flexed her arms in excitement when we took her shirt off...she knew the serious fun was about to begin.

fire department hats

We see this 'pretty face' so often. Sometimes she just closes her eyes tight...she's quite the character.

Jocelyn always thinks Julia is so funny and she's always quick to make her laugh. I think this photo was taken a few hours before she ate the phone antenna and the dog's milk bone (not to worry, it was just a bite). When I asked if if she ate it she simply nods and sticks out her tongue. So honest. I fear I may have grey hair by my next birthday.

I cannot express how much Julia loves this hat. She wears it on walks, around the yard, in the house...absolutely adorable. I was telling her today that her Great-Grandpa Radigan would be very proud of her wearing that hat...I'm certain that he's smiling down at them every day.

Halloween in the Park

We decided on the 30 second costume tonight...I think they're pretty adorable bunnies.

Just love somebunny.

Friendswood held their annual Halloween in the Park and the girls had a blast! The girls favorite "treats" were: the glow necklaces, fireman hats, balloons, suckers, stickers, and a toothbrush. Thank you to all the local businesses for a great night!

D'Feet Breast Cancer

"Find a cure before they grow boobs." ---that was our motto. ;)

I participated in the D' Feet Breast Cancer walk in Galveston this morning. It is a great cause and helps women in our county. I walked with some co-workers and then Tim and the girls came to join in the fun.

balloon hunting

We have an annual tradition to hunt down the hot air balloons on Friday morning during the Balloon Festival. The first year we lived here they nearly landed on our apartment and we have been fans ever since. This year was special though, because we were able to watch the girls watch in amazement. Unfortunately, we only saw one on the fly due to 50 mph winds at 3,000 feet. We're hoping to see some more tomorrow!

pumpkin patch

The girls weren't as enthused about the pumpkin patch as I was, but they did pick out two great pumpkins all by themselves. Note for next year: go somewhere with shorter grass...it really threw off their game. ;)

Kemah: Part 2

Wow...can't tell they're related at all?!?

We took the girls on their first carousel ride. Julia loved it and Jocelyn was a little less sure...but they both whined when we took them off!

We couldn't resist a few more; we have to take advantage of the 'free admission' years! The hot air balloon mini ferris wheel was a hit with everyone. They kept sticking their heads out to look at each other...so cute! My personal favorite part was watching Tim try to fit. ;)

Jocelyn being loved by Alex and Zack after walking through the water fountain. The girls just loved all the attention from their cousins!
