Floor vs Jocelyn

Current score: Floor 1, Jocelyn 0.

Jocelyn fell off a chair yesterday and landed on the tile floor. She wasn't moving her left hand or arm and wouldn't even eat fruit snacks. We then knew she was really hurt. After a visit to the doctor and the hospital for x-rays we are thankful it's just a sprained wrist. She's still struggling tonight, but showing some improvement.
I have a feeling this won't be our last set of x-rays...

there are no words...

I was having a bad day on Monday, and this very moment made my day. We were at the Children's Museum. I told the girls I was going to take a picture and asked them to smile. Jocelyn then proceeded to put her arm around her sister and this is what I got. Seiously. Tim and I nearly fell to the ground in laughter. Still laughing...I think this one is going in a frame. ;)

Cookies Galore & Cousin Ava

The girls had a great time decorating cookies with their friends before leaving for the Holidays. Check out pictures on our friend's blog by clicking the link below. (I know, I can't believe I didn't have my camera either!)

The girls also had a great time playing with their cousin Ava while in MN. They are only three months apart and were really sweet together. To see the adorable pictures just click the link!

Christmas 2009: Top 10 List

10. The girls getting a little kitten for a present then pointing to Grandpa Gregg's Lynx in comparison and excitement.
9. Alex and Zack getting the girls to fall asleep for their naps; one on the couch and one in the recliner. They actually accomplished this TWO days in a row. I was amazed and in awe.
8. The girls playing in 23 inches of snow. The interstates being closed for three days. Getting stuck in the snow during the five block trek to Aunt Laurie's. Tim throwing Hannah in the snow bank face first. Rides in the sled.
7. Ellie asking "Where body?" while pointing to Grandpa Gregg's mounted deer heads.
6. Christmas Ham.
5. All play List 5.
4. Julia and Hannah being such buddies. Holding hands and following each other around Grandma's house and at Whimp's. Hannah also tried to teach her some more daring stunts such as jumping down stairs and climbing on tables. (Did I mention the Marshmallow Shooter?) Ahh, what will the future hold.
3. Melanie turning 51 and Tammy miraculously turning 30.
2. A 75 degree temperature change in one day on our return home. Fortunately for us, it was in our favor.
1. Grandpa Gregg being home for Christmas and not driving on the snowy roads. We're thankful he's recovering from his shoulder surgery so well and grateful for our time together.

Honorable mention: Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Balls.
