Tim poked her, talked to her, rubbed her back and took her picture. Julia threw food in her crib and had a chat with her. She still didn't want to get up for "school." She's definitely my daughter.
"We'll get through this together sister. We can do it. Let's go, they promised they would pick us up and not leave us there forever."
Fancy new hair-do's from their teacher, Ms. Hilarie. Jocelyn had six rubber bands in her hair; Julia reminded me of a Sesame Street character. So cute! They even "kind of" gave their teachers hugs good-bye.
So, there was only ten minutes of crying when Tim left them today. Tim went to Chapel with them and they sat in the first row. Julia actually slept on her mat and Jocelyn drank well out of her big girl cup. They went out to recess, had story time, and did some artwork. I think we're making progress.
