let's go fly a kite...
A beautiful day at the park, so we flew the kite for the first time. Jocelyn wasn't sure what to think about the enormous butterfly, but Julia got into it after a few minutes and even held the string. We all had fun and enjoyed the wonderful day together.

My little Valentines...
We took everyone to another Mardi Gras parade in Galveston.
It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed some time on the beach.
Julia collected shells the whole time...she's so much like Grandma Diana.
Cheers! They caught 'sucker rings' during the parade and did "cheers" with them....needless to say they were a hit.

2nd Birthday Party
Monkey see, Monkey do! Our little monkeys are turning TWO!
Party time at our house Saturday!
They weren't sure about everyone singing to them. But, they have now grown to love it...they say "more Happy." ;)
Monkey cupcakes might just be one of the cutest things I have ever seen!

family came to celebrate
Grandma and Grandpa Rupp made the long drive from MN to help the girls celebrate their birthday. They were also able to go to their Valentine's Day party at school.
Cousin Nick also flew down from MN. It has been so wonderful to have him here!

she's growing up
We were playing in the girls room today and I took their mattresses out of their cribs to change the bedding and they were jumping around on them as usual. Tim came home and they got really fired up and jumped like crazy. Bedtime came around and they insisted we leave the mattresses on the floor. So we did, thinking it would last about a minute. We said our prayers and Jocelyn decided to go in her crib, however Julia wanted to stay on the floor like a big girl. She's been asleep for two hours and hasn't moved an inch. We're in awe.
To be continued until morning...
Julia fell off her mattress twice, then Jocelyn woke up upset around 12:30am. I then begged Julia to sleep in her crib, she easily complied. I had to work in the morning and we all needed our beauty sleep. The cribs will be around for a little longer...no need to grow up too fast. ;)
